Parmesan Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted cauliflower is a great vegetable dish that all vegetable fans will love. It's simple to prepare and tastes so delicious you'll be tempted to eat it straight from the baking sheet.


  • 1 large head cauliflower (about 2 pounds), cut into small florets (about 8 cups)
  • ¼ cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ⅔ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

  1. Step 1

    Heat the oven to 425 degrees F (210 degrees C). Put a rack in the center.

  2. Step 2

    Use a large baking sheet with a rim. Place the cauliflower on the baking sheet. Add olive oil and spread it evenly. Sprinkle salt, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes on the cauliflower.

  3. Step 3

    Roast the cauliflower for about 20 minutes. Remove the baking sheet and flip the cauliflower. Roast again for 10 minutes.

  4. Step 4

    The cauliflower should be tender and brown. Take out the sheet pan from the oven. Put Parmesan cheese on it, then cook it until the cheese melts and turns brown, for approximately 5 more minutes.
