The simple and delicious Frittata recipe! It's prepared with lots of eggs, flavorful bacon, juicy and savory tomatoes, healthy spinach, and smooth Swiss cheese.
Recipe instructions Frittata
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C). Grease a deep 9-10 inch pie dish and set it aside.
Put the bacon in a non-stick skillet that is 12 inches wide, then cook it over medium-high heat. Toss the bacon frequently and cook it for 6-10 minutes or until it is browned and crisp.
Afterward, take the bacon out of the skillet and place it on a plate with several layers of paper towels to drain the oil. Leave 1 tablespoon of bacon grease in the skillet and discard any excess grease.
Put the skillet back on medium-high heat. Add spinach and saute it briefly until it wilts, which should take about 15 to 30 seconds. Then, transfer the spinach to a plate alongside the bacon.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the eggs, half and half, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Add the cooked bacon, tomatoes, spinach, and Swiss cheese, and toss it all together to distribute the ingredients. Pour the mixture into a prepared pie dish and bake it in a preheated oven until it sets, which should take about 30 to 35 minutes. After that, cut it into wedges and serve it warm.
