In a big pot, add chicken stock and water and bring it to a gentle boil.
Mix the soybean paste into the water until it dissolves completely.
Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes and then add the sliced tofu. Simmer for another 5 minutes, then add in seaweed strips and salt to your liking.
Finally, divide into soup bowls evenly and top with scallions, if you wish.
