Cheesy garlic bread made with cream cheese can transform your dinner bread from boring to delicious! It's so easy to make - just spread creamy, cheesy garlic with a hint of heat on French bread.
Recipe instructions Cream Cheese Garlic Bread
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Cut the bread lengthwise to create two long pieces. Place the bread, cut side up, on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley. Spread or pour the mixture evenly over each bread half.
Put the bread back together (with the cut and buttered sides together), cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 15 minutes.
While the bread is baking, mix cream cheese, parmesan, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Once the bread is done, remove it from the oven and turn it to broil.
Open the bread and place it with the cut sides facing upwards on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread the cheese mixture on the cut sides of the bread. Then, sprinkle grated mozzarella on top.
Finally, leave the bread open faced and broil it. Place the dish in the oven, about 4-6 inches away from the broiler. Heat for around 2-3 minutes or until the cheese turns bubbly and brown. Keep checking closely as this process happens quickly.
Take out of the oven and let it cool down slightly before cutting into slices. Top off with some parsley and serve while still warm.
