Classic Wedge Salad

A salad slice is a great starter for a steak or BBQ dinner, but it can also make for a delicious lunch! You'll always enjoy the delightful mix of flavors from the dressing's creamy blue cheese, tomatoes, and crispy, salty bacon.


  • 1 head iceberg lettuce
  • 1 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 3/4 cup grape tomatoes, halved or quartered
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/2 cup bacon, crumbled
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • sea salt, to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  1. Step 1

    Remove any unsightly leaves of lettuce from the outside of the head, then chop into quarters. Leaving the base intact will help keep the leaves intact while serving, so I do not cut this off.

  2. Step 2

    Place one quarter on each plate. Spoon dressing evenly over each quarter.

  3. Step 3

    Evenly divide a top with the grape tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, bacon and chives.

  4. Step 4

    Finish with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
