A burger salad! Tasty burger patties are placed on a bed of fresh iceberg lettuce with all the same toppings you'd see on a burger.
Recipe instructions Burger Salad with Iceberg Lettuce
Cut the ground beef into 4 even parts. Shape each part with your hands or a burger mold into patties about 4 inches in diameter and 1/2 inch thick. Sprinkle the burger seasoning on both sides of each patty, 1/4 teaspoon per side.
Over medium-high heat, warm a large, heavy skillet for about 3 minutes. Next, spray the skillet with avocado oil and add the burger patties. Sear the patties for 3 minutes or until they are well browned and will slide off the skillet easily.
Use a thin, flexible tool to turn over the burgers. Allow them to cook for an additional 3 minutes without moving them, until they are browned on both sides and still slightly pink in the center (you can cut one open to check, or utilize an instant thermometer). Take the patties off the heat and set them on a dish.
Mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, relish, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper in a small mixing bowl until evenly distributed.
In four broad and shallow bowls, put the lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle slices, and cheddar cheese. Put one burger patty on each salad, and sprinkle some burger sauce over each salad as per your taste. Top each salad with a couple of twists of black pepper and serve immediately.
