Avocado and Tomato Salad

With just a few common ingredients, this salad can be prepared in 15 minutes, making it a perfect choice for any season. A tasty, easy, and healthy addition to your daily meals is the avocado and tomato salad.


  • 3 avocados
  • 3 small tomatoes
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/4 bunch cilantro
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 tsp salt

  1. Step 1

    Dice the avocados and tomatoes. Finely dice the red onion and jalapeno (seeds removed). Mince the garlic, and roughly chop the cilantro.

  2. Step 2

    Add the avocados, tomatoes, jalapeno, red onion, garlic, and cilantro to a large bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over top.

  3. Step 3

    Juice the lime and add about 1 tbsp to the salad to start, along with ¼ tsp salt.

  4. Step 4

    Give the salad a brief stir, then taste and add more lime juice and salt to your liking. I ended up using 2 tbsp lime juice total and ½ tsp salt. Enjoy immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve.
